Submitting Your Search to A9.com's OpenSearch Client
We encourage you to submit your search content as a column on A9.com's OpenSearch Client.
If you are a content developer and already have a search engine for your site, you will want to read through the
OpenSearch specification on www.opensearch.org.
Please Note: By submitting your search content to A9.com, you acknowledge your search results will be published to all users of A9.com's OpenSearch Client.
OpenSearch Submission Guidelines
While we appreciate your time and effort to develop your OpenSearch column, we respectfully request that you understand and follow the following guidelines when submitting your OpenSearch column. Any column that does not follow these guidelines will be removed.
- You have the rights to republish the search content you are making available on A9.com's OpenSearch Client.
- The OpenSearch Description file accurately reflects the type and content of the returned results.
- The search result content does not and will not violate, misappropriate or infringe any intellectual property right, including but not limited to trademark rights, copyrights, moral rights and publicity rights of any third party.
- The search result content is not pornographic, libelous, defamatory, tortious, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
- The search result content does not contain any personally identifiable information about any child under the age of 13.
- The search result content does not contain any active content including without limitation script code, automatic
downloads, spyware, popups, or adware.
- You will not upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit search result content to us that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
A9.com reserves the right to remove any OpenSearch column from its OpenSearch resource site for any reason, with or without notice to the column submitter.
